Surface pretreatment is an essential process for achieving high quality and durability in bonding, coating, and printing applications involving low-polarity plastic materials and metals.
Our atmospheric-pressure plasma technology, Openair-Plasma®, helps optimize production processes for a wide range of materials and improves quality across many different applications. It is also widely used across various industries as a primer-free, environmentally responsible, and cost-efficient surface modification technology.
It is well known that atmospheric-pressure plasma treatment is a chemically based surface treatment technology. But what kinds of reactions are actually taking place on the substrate surface when Openair-Plasma® is applied?
In this webinar, we will introduce the technical details of Openair-Plasma® technology, along with its key features and implementation benefits. We will also show actual treatment processes, including demonstrations featuring new nozzles and the characteristics of newly developed plasma systems.
Through these demonstrations, we will also introduce the types of materials and adhesives for which the technology is particularly effective, as well as how different nozzles can be selected according to specific applications.
