【Japanese Only / No English Subtitles】PlasmaPlus® Functional Coatings: Next-Generation Surface Treatment for Protection and Bonding
Important Notice
This webinar will be conducted in Japanese only. English subtitles and interpretation will not be available.
In recent years, manufacturing sites have increasingly required surface treatment technologies that can meet a wide range of demands, including reliability, durability, and environmental performance.
One technology that addresses these challenges is PlasmaPlus®, Plasmatreat’s functional coating technology based on atmospheric-pressure plasma. In this process, special additives (precursors) are introduced into the plasma under atmospheric pressure to form nano-level functional coatings on the material surface.
In this webinar, we will explain the principle behind PlasmaPlus® and why it is needed in today’s manufacturing processes. We will also introduce the two main approaches of PlasmaPlus® functional coatings.
The first is barrier coating, centered on the concept of “protection.” These coatings provide functions such as moisture resistance, corrosion protection, and electrical insulation to help protect products from external environmental influences. One example is AntiCorr®.
The second is adhesion-promoting coating, focused on the concept of “bonding.” This includes solutions such as PT-Bond, which improves adhesion strength and durability, as well as adhesion-promoting coatings for bonding dissimilar materials.
Using application examples from industries such as automotive and electronics, we will explain the benefits of implementation and the future potential of these technologies in concrete terms. If you are interested in improving reliability and productivity, we invite you to join this webinar.
